intraoral and facial scanning
Our advanced intraoral and facial scanning systems create highly accurate three-dimensional digital records of your teeth, bite and facial features without the need for conventional dental impressions. jaw motion tracking
Every person's jaw moves in a unique way. Our jaw motion tracking technology records these movements in real time, allowing us to study how your jaw functions during speaking, chewing and opening and closing. This advanced digital analysis enables us to diagnose bite problems with remarkable accuracy and design restorations that work in harmony with your natural jaw movements. The result is improved comfort, enhanced function and greater long-term stability, particularly for complex restorative, implant and full-mouth rehabilitation cases.
PerioView system 2 dental endoscopy
The PerioView System 2 allows our clinicians to see beneath the gumline with a level of clarity that is not possible using conventional instruments alone. This advanced dental endoscope uses an ultra-thin, flexible imaging probe with illumination and a miniature digital camera to provide a highly magnified, real-time view of the root surfaces and periodontal pockets surrounding the teeth.
Traditionally, non-surgical periodontal treatment is performed largely by touch, as deposits hidden beneath the gums cannot be seen directly. With PerioView, we can identify residual calculus, irregular root anatomy, inflammation and other areas that may otherwise remain concealed. The system also allows instrumentation to be performed while the root surface is being viewed, helping us clean difficult areas with greater precision and confirm that deposits have been thoroughly removed.
This minimally invasive approach can improve the accuracy of periodontal diagnosis and treatment while, in appropriate cases, reducing the need for surgical access simply to visualise the root surface. It is particularly valuable when treating deep periodontal pockets, furcations, root concavities and other anatomically challenging areas.
The live images can also be shared with you, helping you clearly understand what is occurring below the gumline and allowing us to demonstrate both the condition being treated and the progress achieved. laser dentistry
The Gemini 100 soft tissue laser enables many dental procedures to be performed with greater comfort and precision. Laser technology allows us to treat gum disease, reshape gum tissue, expose implants, perform soft tissue surgery and assist with healing while minimising bleeding, swelling and postoperative discomfort.
In many situations, laser treatment reduces the need for sutures and promotes faster healing, making procedures more comfortable for our patients.
Cone Beam CT (CBCT) and airway analysis
Our Cone Beam CT scanner provides detailed three-dimensional imaging of your teeth, jaws, facial bones and surrounding structures using significantly more information than conventional dental X-rays. This advanced imaging is invaluable for planning dental implants, wisdom tooth surgery, root canal treatment and complex restorative procedures with exceptional accuracy.
In addition to dental diagnosis, our CBCT technology allows us to evaluate your upper airway. Airway analysis can identify areas of narrowing that may contribute to snoring, obstructive sleep apnoea and sleep-disordered breathing. When appropriate, these findings form part of a comprehensive assessment and may assist in guiding treatment or referral to the appropriate medical specialists.
